We're looking for a Project Manager to join our business delivering high value projects as part of our Defence JV Location : Faslane/ Coulport Hours : Full Time, Permanent We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? The Project Manager will be involved in the delivery of large construction works within the Coulport Naval base working within our dedicated defence team. Working in a high security environment the Project Manager will lead teams delivering high value, highly technical works for a key client. The Project Manager will be accountable for : Overseeing the successful delivery of often high value, technically complex construction projects, achieving operational and commercial goals of said projects through the effective management of multi discipline teams and internal and external stakeholders. Drive assigned project achieving completion, on time and on budget in a safe and quality focussed manner by empowering and guiding site teams to execute project strategy. Overall responsibility for implementation of Kier's SHE policies and procedures ensuring that all employees, subcontractors comply with all relevant policies and procedures. Act as mentor, line manager and escalations point for site teams, share knowledge and experience to help develop others. Act as client point of contact to develop excellent working culture with representatives from various external bodies to promote ongoing relationships and facilitate ongoing opportunities for Kier. Promote Kier's values towards our supply chain and customers in order to exceed expectations and support them in achieving industry leading results. What are we looking for? This role of Project Manager is great for you if: Membership / accreditation with a relevant professional body (e.g. CIOB/ICE) Experience of using ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project Hold or have held relevant site accreditations (SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid) Full Driving Licence.
