We are looking for an organised, creative, and passionate individual with financial and professional services experience along with established media relationships for a role that will involve working on exciting corporate, reputation management and campaign briefs for businesses and brands across private, public and third sectors.
The ideal candidate will have two to three years’ experience in PR with a proven track record of delivering communications programmes and driving value. Experience of digital and social media is desirable.
We are after a talented and motivated manager to drive and execute integrated programmes – successful individuals will work with both large, integrated blue-chip and smaller challenger clients. Your client portfolio will include a number of businesses within our financial services footprint, as well as giving you the opportunity to build knowledge and experience across other sectors.
You’ll be doing exciting work including liaising with clients, media, stakeholders and influencers to deliver award-worthy communications programmes that strengthen reputations and support business objectives. You’ll draw on a range of approaches and tactics for effective strategic positioning, corporate profile raising, issues management, digital communications, thought leadership and relationship building.
With experts from corporate communications, capital markets, public policy, design and insight practices working in tandem to support and grow our portfolio, you’ll be working alongside a range of specialists and learning from some of the best in the industry. As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll also have access to formal training programmes to help develop the skills to support your career progress.
Requirements:
* Mid-level position, ideally someone with 2 - 3 years communications or PR experience
Duties/Responsibilities
* Drafting press releases, articles and comments to a high standard for clients
* Developing long-term relationships with key media and working with them to develop features for clients
* Developing creative ideas to support delivery of client programmes
* Creation of content calendars and copy for integrated, digitally led briefs
* Analysing data to pitch feature ideas and drafting research reports for clients
* Supporting and progressing new business opportunities and pitch documents including development relationships with potential clients
* Organising events
* Overseeing client reporting on measurement and KPIs
* Attending meetings and developing client relationships
