We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in High Wycombe, starting as soon as possible. As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, promoting strong learning habits, and preparing pupils for the challenges of Upper Key Stage 2. You will foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
* Use assessment data to track progress and plan targeted support
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning
* Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Be organised, confident, and enthusiastic
* Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to professional development
* Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
