Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for an industry leading manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a mechanical background looking to pursue a career in maintenance within a company who has invested heavily in machinery on site. They are committed to employee development through external training and progression.
This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with experience from any industry. You will hold a relevant engineering / technical qualification.
The successful candidate will be joining a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out PPMs, repairs and project work across the companys Glossop site.
The Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role:
: PPM and servicing of machinery
: Reactive repairs when required
: Project work : new machinery
: Working with moulding machinery, hot wire cutters, granulation systems etc.
: Working with steam, boilers, hydraulics and pneumatic
The Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
: Mechanically biased or multiskilled engineer
: Hold a relevant engineering qualification
: Any industry background
