Job title: Business Development Manager
Location: Hybrid – 2 office days (Nottingham) / 3 home days per week, with client travel as required
Salary: £40,000+ per annum (DOE) plus up to 20% OTE
Business Development Manager Opportunity
Great opportunity to join a growing FMCG / Retail / B2B solutions company and drive client acquisition via a warm pipeline of leads along with re-engaging with lapsed clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and converting a warm pipeline of leads from the marketing team.
* Managing the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities to onboarding clients.
* Building strong relationships with brands, retailers, and decision-makers within FMCG and retail
* Preparing proposals, tenders, and presentations that demonstrate ROI and deliver tangible value.
* Utilising performance data to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within accounts.
* Expanding our client’s digital presence, particularly on LinkedIn, to engage prospects and showcase successes.
* Working closely with clients to identify market trends
About You
* Proven success in business development or B2B sales, ideally within FMCG or retail.
* Proven experience converting leads
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and solve client challenges effectively.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation expertise.
* Organised, driven, and resilient with a talent for managing multiple prospects and deadlines.
