Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: 3.5 hours per week

Hourly pay rate: £16 per hour. Mileage @45p per mile

I am looking for a kind and friendly, playful PA for my sweet, happy 13-year-old boy, who has lots of energy for his favourite activities. He loves Roblox, swimming, travelling by train, funfair rides and arcades. Your role will be to provide one-to-one support to take him on trips out in the local area in your car. Occasionally, some of this support will be at home joining in with activities he loves. He has a diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay (GDD, ADHD, Autism and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Experience of working with SEN children is desirable.

Duties include:

Personal grooming
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Accessing and participating in social and leisure activities e.g. swimming, fun fair rides, arcades, days out, after school clubs etc
Mealtimes e.g. cutting up food, table skills
Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
