About the area College Services delivers academic and technical support to UWA’s schools, enabling excellence in teaching and research. The Technical Services team supports a wide range of life sciences disciplines including gross anatomy, physiology, optometry, and sports science. The team contributes to high-quality learning outcomes through lab and fieldwork support, equipment maintenance, workshop design, and promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance. This role is based primarily in the Human Science Training laboratories supporting teaching and learning with a primary focus in Sports Science and Physiology. About the opportunity Assist with the preparation and maintenance of teaching and research workshops and laboratories. Perform routine servicing of equipment and uphold compliance with safety protocols. Support academic staff and students in practical activities aligned with UWA’s teaching and research goals. About you Year 12 completion or equivalent competency, with relevant technical support experience. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time and priorities effectively. Confident using computer applications including spreadsheets, email, and databases. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team. Special Requirements Able to meet the physical requirements of the role. Some after-hours work may be required.
