We are currently working on an Estates Business Partner (Surveyor) role with a Local Authority, partnering with the Children and Family Services to support estate management and ensure compliance with the Corporate Landlord model. Please see the below details for your perusal: Estates Business Partner (Surveyor) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 Months Initially (likely extension) Rate: £500 p/d inside IR35 (Umbrella) Hybrid Working Arrangement Duties Act as the Property Business Partner for Children and Family Services, providing strategic property advice aligned with the Corporate Landlord model Ensure service property requirements are identified, reviewed, and delivered in line with corporate asset strategies and operational needs Support the effective management of the council’s property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, and estate management activities Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure property use is efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with council policies and procedures Assist in developing and implementing property strategies that support service transformation and improve service delivery Monitor property occupation, maintenance needs, and lease terms to ensure compliance and best value Contribute to property reviews, audits, and service planning to identify under-utilised or surplus assets Work collaboratively with Estates, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure governance, compliance, and due diligence in all property-related matters Requirements MRICS qualified (General Practice pathway preferred) Local government or public sector property experience Strong knowledge of the Corporate Landlord model Experience in estate and asset management Understanding of property legislation and compliance Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines Proficient in property systems and data reporting Full UK driving licence (if site visits are required) If this is of any interest please apply with a copy of your updated CV and myself, or a member of the team will be in contact.
