Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Strong, hands-on experience with Power BI development Advanced capability in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling Proven experience delivering BI solutions within a structured IT environment Strong SQL skills Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical audiences Experience working through full development lifecycles, including testing and release processes Exposure to Cognos or similar legacy BI tools Experience with Python or R Knowledge of Agile delivery approaches Understanding of data visualisation best practice and user experience principles Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI Design, build, and maintain dashboards that support business decision making Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to translate requirements into meaningful visual outputs Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability throughout BI solutions Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports Manage the full lifecycle of BI development from requirements through to deployment Build robust data models using DAX, Power Query, and M Ensure strong governance through testing, documentation, and version control Work with multiple data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present insights Provide user training and guidance on dashboards and reporting tools Technologies: Business Intelligence Cloud DAX Support Power BI Power Query Python SQL More: We are an established and well-known UK organisation with a long-standing Business Intelligence environment, and we are investing in modern reporting to grow our Power BI capability.
