To apply for this role you must have: Strong oral and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused manner Experience of financial administration and confident with numeracy Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands effectively We are looking for a well-organised and proactive Courses Administrator to support the smooth delivery of courses and provide financial and administrative support across the Language Centre. This is a varied role that combines course administration, finance tasks, and general office support, and will suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills. The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £14.67 per hour holiday pay Key Responsibilities Manage course bookings and payments using AccessPlanIt (or similar systems), including enrolments, transfers, refunds, and other course-related tasks Take a lead role in administering Modern Languages courses alongside colleagues Respond to queries from applicants, learners, and colleagues in person, by phone, and via email Create and maintain registers, timetables, and certificates for courses Undertake financial administration, including raising invoices, processing requisitions, and maintaining records Provide reception cover on a rota, including handling building access using Salto software and liaising with Facilities Management Support staff with basic AV and IT troubleshooting, and liaise with IT Services/FM for more complex issues Assist with printers, scanners, and copiers, including demonstrations, user setup, and maintenance Support the rental of the building to internal and external clients, liaising with events teams as required Selection Criteria Educated to A Level (or equivalent) with significant administrative experience Strong oral and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused manner Experience of financial administration and confident with numeracy Excellent IT skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with databases and content management systems Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands effectively Problem-solving ability, with initiative to propose and implement solutions Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Vacancy ID: 19648 Please be aware that all candidates need to be able to start work immediately and must be able to work on site if required to do so.
