Senior Paraplanner Manchester (Hybrid)
A well-established and highly respected financial planning firm in Manchester is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Paraplanner to support senior Financial Planners with the delivery of complex, high-value advice.
This is a client-facing, technically focused role where you will work closely with Financial Planners on sophisticated planning strategies, manage a high-value client bank, and play a key role in mentoring junior team members.
The role will involve:
Attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners and producing detailed, accurate meeting notes
Supporting the delivery of complex financial planning strategies and solutions for clients with substantial assets
Working collaboratively with senior Financial Planners to analyse client circumstances and help design and implement tailored financial strategies
Preparing high-quality suitability, investment strategy and recommendation reports in line with regulatory standards
Carrying out detailed research and analysis of appropriate products, services and solutions
Completing portfolio and ongoing client reviews, ensuring client files remain up to date and compliant
Overseeing the timely implementation of agreed recommendations
Acting as a technical point of reference within the team, supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners and providing exam support where required
Using a range of planning and research systems, including cashflow modelling tools, analytics software and wrap platforms
Keeping up to date with regulatory, compliance and industry developments, working in line with Consumer Duty requirements
About you:
You will hold the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) and ideally be working towards, or already hold, the Level 6 Advanced Diploma. You will have at least 5 years experience within financial planning or paraplanning and be comfortable working at a senior level with complex cases and high-value clients.
