Desired experience
We are looking for someone who has at least 3 to 5 years book keeping and accounts experience. Ideally you will know how to use Xero but also that you have experience of currencies outside of just GBP. If you come from a motorsport background that would be preferential as it is a complex industry and there is an awful lot of technical detail to learn!
Overall Purpose Of The Role
The Accounts Administrator provides reliable day-to-day financial administration and transactional processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the delivery of core finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Process supplier invoices, payments, and credit control.
* Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
* Support payroll processing and employee expenses.
* Assist with month-end reporting and audit preparation.
* Provide day-to-day financial administrative support.
* Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues.
* Identify and suggest improvements to finance processes.
* Managing Payments.
Experience And Skills Required
* Proven experience in finance administration or accounts roles.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and Excel.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
* Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
