Join to apply for the Electrician role at Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.
Hours: 36.25 & (Callout Service Rota). We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team and provide an efficient and effective electrical service to RBH clients. You will carry out testing, fault finding and rectification to both occupied and empty properties, ensuring compliance with the ongoing Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) program. Working with other trades colleagues, you will complete work promptly, working to right first time to minimise interruptions to our customers. You will survey the job, determine if any materials need to be ordered and assist in the day-to-day repairs and installation service.
Responsibilities
* Carry out testing, fault finding and rectification on electrical systems in occupied and empty properties.
* Ensure compliance with the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) program.
* Work with other trades colleagues to complete tasks promptly and to right first time to minimise customer disruptions.
* Survey jobs, determine material requirements and assist with day-to-day repairs and installation work.
* Maintain high standards of customer care and operate to relevant standards, working on an on-call rota as required.
* Work under own initiative and as part of a team; hold a valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications
* Experience repairing electrical systems across domestic, commercial and public buildings.
* Ability to work alongside other trades and at heights.
* Beneficial qualifications include:
* Electrical: City & Guilds 2330 (or equivalent).
* Electrical: City & Guilds 2382 (BS7671:2018) 18th Edition IEE Regulations or equivalent NVQ up to Level 3.
* Electrical: City & Guilds 2391: Testing and Inspection (or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2394 & 2395).
You must hold a valid UK driving licence.
