Role Overview
As a Bank Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals living in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene with dignity and respect
* Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication according to care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working flexible hours to cover staff absences or increased demand

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
* A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn

What We Offer

* Competitive pay rates:
o Unqualified Carers: £14.18–£19.80 per hour
o Qualified Carers (Level 2+): £14.68–£21.30 per hour
* 35p per mile fuel allowance
* Full in-house training and induction in Swadlincote
* Shadowing shifts before independent work
