The Respiratory department at North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) has an exciting opportunity for a clinical fellow to join the Complex Airways Disease team.
The post will provide up to 36 months of dedicated sub‑speciality experience in Complex Airways Disease (Severe Asthma) and would be suited to a Respiratory Trainee with an interest in complex airways disease as an out‑of‑programme research experience during specialist training or as post‑CCT experience.
This post will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to build on their existing respiratory knowledge and become an integral member of the Academic Airways multidisciplinary team.
The Complex Airways Service at NBT is a designated regional specialist centre and biologic prescribing centre, delivering comprehensive care throughout the North of the South‑West of England. NBT has recently secured investment from NHSE to further expand our workforce, enabling the airways team to deliver biologic drugs to patients safely and effectively, improving patient experience and reducing health inequalities.
North Bristol NHS Trust values all people as individuals. We aim to be an anti‑discriminatory organisation and are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We welcome applicants from all under‑represented groups.
The successful postholder will work closely with a collaborative and engaged multidisciplinary team, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, physiotherapists, physiologists, and clinical psychologists to deliver outstanding services. They will have a close, supportive network around them.
