EC&I Partners are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client's team and play a key role in keeping their plant running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a multi-skilled electrical team, you'll handle a mix of preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Salary: £36,779 - £37,586 (£31,982 basic plus 15% shift allowance, rising to £32,684 plus 15% shift allowance on successful completion of the probation period)

What You Will Do
Maintain electrical systems to ensure peak performance while upholding safety standards. Your daily tasks will include:
* Conducting planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
* Working with relay control circuits, AC and DC motors, and various drives
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to ensure efficient production
* Performing basic PLC fault-finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 PLCs
* Interpreting electrical drawings and using maintenance management systems (MMS)
* Identifying and implementing improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and performance
What You Will Need
* Apprentice-trained or hold a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
* Heavy industrial experience
* Experience with low voltage systems, drives, and PLCs
* Electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
* Familiarity with SAP PM or similar systems
* 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge (desirable)
This role follows a rotating shift pattern (days, lates, and nights from Monday to Friday), so flexibility is required. Teamwork is essential, as you'll be part of a multi-skilled engineering team.
