Role: Brickwork Technician

Type: Temporary - Full Time
Rate £15 - £17 per hour
Eden Brown are seeing an enthusiastic Brickwork Technician for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire to support the delivery of construction and bricklaying programmes.
About the Role
The Brickwork Technician will play a key role in assisting teaching staff, preparing practical workshops, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, well-organised learning environment for students. This is a full-time temporary position, ideal for someone with strong practical experience in brickwork and a commitment to supporting skills development in the FE sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up materials, tools, and resources for brickwork and construction sessions
- Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and workshop spaces
- Support tutors during practical demonstrations and student assessments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and college policies
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering materials
- Provide general technical support across the department as required
Requirements
- Industry experience in brickwork or general construction
- Good understanding of workshop safety and compliance
- Strong organisational and practical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students
- Previous experience in an FE environment is desirable but not essential
