Overview
We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Support Worker role in the Mansfield and Ashfield Mental Health Support Team, which works alongside schools providing early intervention work and promoting mental health.
Responsibilities
* Deliver workshops and assemblies developed by the team to groups of young people in schools on emotional health and wellbeing.
* Participate in promotional events and parents events within schools; occasional out-of-hours work to cover parents evenings.
* Support peer mentoring schemes in schools and work on projects to support service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a CAMHS setting or experience working with children (e.g., youth worker, teaching assistant).
* A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010).
Financial/Administration notes
* Applicants are required to pay for their DBS check; costs are deducted from salary following appointment. DBS standard: £26.40; enhanced: £54.40.
* Cost of the DBS application will be deducted from salary over the first 2 months of employment.
* You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service (annual fee £16).
