Loan Analyst
About the role
CBRE is seeking a Loan Analyst whose primary responsibility will be supporting the Asset Managers and Loan Administrator in all aspects of the servicing of allocated commercial real estate loans.
What you will be doing:
Service assigned commercial real estate loans in the UK and continental Europe and monitor their performance.
Provide general customer service to lenders, borrowers, and administration departments as per the financing documentation.
Manage the setup of new loans in the loan servicing system and maintain the currency and integrity of loan information.
Manage loan document files and document imaging.
Administration and bookkeeping of the transaction.
Set interest periods and reference rates applicable for each period.
Calculate amounts to be paid by borrowers and lenders in accordance with loan documentation (fees, interest, principal).
Execute payment instructions on each payment date according to the waterfall provided.
Liaise with designated Borrower Account Bank to ensure all signing and account access arrangements (via electronic banking) are in place to allow movement of funds on each IPD.
Maintain KYC information for all bank account signatories.
Provide assistance as required to Asset Managers in responding to borrower audit enquiries.
What you will need:
Solid experience in UK & European real estate finance sector.
Debt due diligence and transaction management expertise.
Execution and documentation experience.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong client-facing and communication skills (interacting with both investors and borrowers).
Presentational skills.
Team mentality.
