As a Technical Test Analyst, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering a robust testing service for SSCL. This isn't just about running tests, it's about developing guidelines, influencing processes, and driving technical excellence. This is a 15‑month fixed‑term cover role, primarily home-based with occasional travel to a Sopra Steria UK office for team meetings, and with potential to become permanent thereafter. What you'll be doing: Develop skills in UIPath Test Automation and apply them effectively. Act as the team's technical tester, providing expertise and guidance. Cont to the creation of Test Strategies for straightforward or moderately complex testing requirement. Prepare and review Test Plans for simple or moderate testing needs, ensuring alignment with the Test Strategy. Design high-level Test Cases (scenarios) and Test Scripts, including expected results, for both automated and manual testing, in accordance with the Test Strategy. Create and manage test data, and define testing environments for more complex requirements. Support and execute all levels of testing by co-ordinating stakeholders, documenting outcomes, and verifying results. Record, monitor, and manage incidents identified during testing. Produce metrics on executed tests and raised incidents, and proactively drive error resolution. Compile Test Review Reports for moderate or complex testing, capturing best practice for continuous improvement. Conduct impact analysis of change requests or shifting priorities, implementing change control and configuration management as needed. What you'll bring: Strong technical expertise with proven experience in test automation (UiPath preferred). Advanced understanding of test management principles, including: Test techniques and software quality characteristics Reviews, defect management, tools and automation Ability to produce a comprehensive range of test deliverables aligned with industry standards. ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Technical Test Analyst certifications. Significant experience as a Technical Test Analyst on large, complex integration projects.
