As the Warehouse Operator in our Manufacturing Department, you will maintain the day-to-day operation of the Raw Materials Warehouse functions across both Hamble and Chandler’s Ford sites, ensuring the receiving, storage maintenance and issue of Inventory is in accordance with all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
On a day to day basis, you will be:
1. Operating fork-lift trucks within a warehouse and yard environment
2. Driving company vehicles between sites
3. Working on the computer undertaking admin based tasks using bespoke computer systems
4. Addressing and resolving issues as needed to maintain optimal operational workflow & stock accuracy
5. Correctly labelling materials
6. Providing a secure point of delivery for courier drop-offs
7. Driving company vehicles on and between CV UKM sites
8. Receiving, labelling and putting away materials
9. Picking and issuing materials
10. Participating in all inventory cycle counting activities
11. Operating IT-based systems including Oracle, CVM SAMM, ServiceNow, Printers, Agile and MS Office
12. Working to KSI’s and other targets

What skills and experience should you have?
We are looking for someone who has experience working in a warehouse environment, has a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. Must be happy spending a significant amount of time working at a computer undertaking inventory related admin tasks.
Experience & Education:
Required
13. A full, clean driving license
14. Good working knowledge of warehouse procedures
15. Materials Handling Equipment License: forklift trucks, pallet stacker and necessary associated attachments such as barrel lifter and extensions (or competence to achieve this)
16. Strong communication skills
17. Problem solving skills
Work Environment:
18. Combination of indoor and outdoor working within the warehouse areas, including cold stores, yards and drop-off/ collection points around the Hamble and Chandler’s Ford sites
19. Driving company delivery vehicles and operating manual handling equipment such as FLTs with safe and competent operating technique
20. Designated safety PPE must be worn
