Overview
In this busy and rewarding role, you will coordinate all stages of the recruitment process—from advertising and shortlisting through to pre-employment checks and onboarding—ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. You will provide clear advice on recruitment processes, manage recruitment documentation and central mailboxes, maintain accurate records, and communicate confidently with staff at all levels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a varied workload, building strong working relationships, and contributing to a professional, people-centred recruitment service.
Responsibilities
* Act as the key contact for a range of departments and candidates to ensure a smooth and timely recruitment process and a positive experience for all.
* Build strong working relationships with recruiting managers and provide consistent support throughout the recruitment process.
* Work with the Trac recruitment system and NHS Job on a daily basis, along with the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) to support the national streamlining agenda.
* Handle recruitment documentation, central mailboxes, and maintain accurate records; manage workload and prioritise effectively within a team setting.
* Provide information and guidance on recruitment processes to staff at all levels and ensure a professional service.
* Support flexible and agile working arrangements where possible and discuss requirements with the recruiting manager named in the advert.
Systems and Processes
* Operate Trac recruitment system, NHS Job, and ESR; receive full training on these systems where needed.
* Participate in continuing efforts toward inclusivity and flexible working from day one wherever feasible.
* Engage in safeguarding and compliant recruitment practices, including DBS checks when required.
