Mental Health Clinical Lead – Young Person’s Talking Therapies Team
Role Overview:
Location: Home-based (UK only) – Monthly travel to a Bupa site required at a minimum.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours) – Flexible options available (e.g. 30 hours over 4 days)
Salary: £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

About the Role: This is a pivotal leadership position within our newly established Young Persons Mental Health service. You’ll help shape the future of the service, ensuring clinical excellence and outstanding care delivery.
Responsibilities
* Leading clinical performance and oversight of Young Persons Mental Health practitioners
* Collaborating with the Clinical Head of Mental Health on governance, quality, and education
* Driving quality improvement initiatives
* Delivering clinical sessions one day per week
* Supporting clinician development and career pathways
* Providing input to commercial teams
* Acting as a trusted clinical voice and deputy to the Clinical Head of Mental Health
Essential Qualifications
* Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Doctorate level, BPS-accredited, HCPC registered)
* Accredited CBT Psychotherapist (Postgraduate diploma, BABCP-accredited)
* Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4+ diploma, BACP-accredited) — All with substantial experience in Young Persons services
Key Skills
* 1 year + Experience in CAMHS
* Strong leadership in a mental health setting preferably in young persons mental health and stakeholder relationship management
* Clinical quality and risk management expertise
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills
* Commercial awareness and adaptability
* IT proficiency and a solution-focused mindset
