The Role
7. To prioritise maintenance of plant and equipment as necessary to ensure the effective running of the production facility.
8. To take direct responsibility for fault diagnosis, rectification and modification of production plant and machinery.
9. To respond quickly and effectively to plant and machinery breakdowns
10. To read layout, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
11. To develop and adhere to the site PPM programme, implementing and recommending improvements
12. To support the successful introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services.
13. To operate panel vision driven equipment.
The Person
14. Time served Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled with Electrical bias
15. Demonstrate adequate knowledge of:Maintenance management systems
16. Quality
17. H&S
18. Machine operation
19. Cleaning
20. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
