£300k–£10M Projects

We’re partnered with a privately owned regional main building contractor which were established in Huddersfield over 100 years ago, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across Yorkshire — from bespoke one-off builds to multi-million-pound developments.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at the forefront of growth, led by forward-thinking, dynamic directors with a clear vision for the future. You’ll be part of a close-knit, professional team where collaboration, trust, and long-term relationships underpin everything they do. As Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes, enabling the business to continue to deliver exceptional projects across the region.

What you’ll be doing:

* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a seamless and professional environment

* Providing high-level administrative support to project teams and the wider business

* Taking ownership of document control — ensuring all drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are accurately managed and distributed

* Maintaining version control and precision across all project documentation

* Managing subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal processes

* Partnering closely with site teams, project managers, and consultants to keep information flowing efficiently

* Driving improvements to internal systems and processes to support growth

What we’re looking for:

* Proven experience as an Office Manager, within a construction sector

* Strong knowledge of document control processes with exceptional attention to detail

* Demonstrable experience of managing subcontractor payments

* Organised, methodical, and able to balance multiple priorities with ease

* A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document control platforms
