ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and in accordance with established timelines and quality standards. The candidate will get involved with all types of different works including piling, earthworks, and concrete groundworks. You will complete day-to-day tasks such as Cost Management, Procurement, Contract Administration, financial reporting, and risk management.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Projects. The successful candidate will need a strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, practices, and techniques and familiarity with relevant construction contracts, such as FIDIC, NEC, and JCT. They will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Professional certifications, such as RICS or CIOB, are desirable but not required.
