Position Summary NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Automation Engineer to support technical activities on digital manufacturing and automation projects. Applicants with Siemens, Rockwell, and AVEVA (Wonderware) experience and a background in GAMP 5 will have an added advantage. This role is offered as a full-time staff position, based out of our Chesterfield office, with an excellent Salary and Benefits package. Key Responsibilities Participating in digital manufacturing/automation projects, including leading design, test, and integration activities. Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers delivering projects to customer sites. Liaising with customers to gather and translate project and process improvement requirements into functional design and detailed design documentation. Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment and following GAMP 5 guidelines. Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology. Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments. Co-ordinating and supporting project commissioning activities. Mentoring and training of junior engineers. Researching new technologies and trends in Industrial Automation and liaising with senior management on digital manufacturing/automation business strategy. Experience & Skills Required Experienced automation engineer with 3 years' experience. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Information Systems or related field. PLC Programming Experience: Allen-Bradley PLCs / Siemens TIA Portal. HMI / SCADA Experience: Siemens / Rockwell/ AVEVA / Schneider. Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet). Desired Experience working with validated Automation systems in the Food and Beverage or Pharma manufacturing environment. Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring would be desirable.
