Overview
Dream Medical is working with a GP surgery in Nottingham that is currently looking to recruit a salaried Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP). The surgery, located on the edge of Nottingham in Bulwell, is seeking an ANP to commence on a part‑time basis with a view to taking on more duties in the future. The practice uses SystemOne and has more than 6,000 patients registered. The candidate is expected to work autonomously with experience in initial assessment, treatment and/or referral of undiagnosed conditions, to complement the existing team. You will work with a multidisciplinary team alongside HCAs, Practice Nurses, other ANPs, GPs and non-clinical staff. The salary package includes: NHS pension; up to 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays (pro‑rata for part‑time staff); clinical career development opportunities; support towards appraisal and revalidation; salary negotiable dependent upon experience; and the opportunity to negotiate working arrangements. Applicants must hold a current NMC pin. The post holder will be vital to the practice’s success, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients autonomously every day.
Responsibilities
* Work autonomously in initial assessment, treatment and/or referral of undiagnosed conditions.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including HCAs, Practice Nurses, other ANPs and GPs.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Qualifications
* RGN.
* Degree level / Postgraduate level ANP qualification.
* Recognised Nurse Prescribing Qualification.
