Our Vet Rota – Designed for Work-Life Balance Weekday Rota One fixed or rotating weekday off - your choice! A mix of theatre, consulting and hospital work Love consulting? We also offer a Consult‑Only Vet Package with some weekend daytime consulting, but no out of hours work. Please let us know if this is something you might prefer. Out ‑of ‑Hours Rota - We’re proud to run our own OOH service, providing true continuity of patient care. Approx 1 in 20 weeknights 1st on-call = sleeper shift, 3pm–8am (your following day is off) 9 weekends per year, with an extra weekday off in lieu per full weekend worked Surgeries open for weekend consulting fits into our OOH rota Always 2 vets on call OOH nurses triage all calls and provide around the clock care to our patients Flexible options discussed openly at enquiry or interview.
