SEN Teacher (Secondary ASD) – Start ASAP

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and committed SEN Teacher to join our growing Secondary ASD provision. We are a specialist setting dedicated to providing high-quality education and meaningful support for neurodiverse students. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of secondary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
2. Use a variety of communication approaches and sensory-aware strategies to support student engagement
3. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams to create a positive and structured learning environment
4. Track progress and maintain accurate records in line with EHCP targets
5. Build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Person Specification:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
7. Experience working with students with ASD, ideally in a specialist setting
8. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
9. Creative, adaptable, and patient approach
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
