We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Town Centre Warden to help maintain Gilford’s town centre as a clean, safe, and weing environment for residents, businesses, and visitors. The role involves routine maintenance, reporting issues, and acting as a point of contact for the localmunity.Main Duties & Responsibilities
As Town Centre Warden, you will:
1. Carry out routine litter picking and respond to areas of specific need.
2. Clean and maintain public conveniences to a high standard.
3. Remove graffiti and fly posting when required.
4. Undertake weeding duties as necessary.
5. Identify and report defects, disrepair, or vandalism to your supervisor.
6. Report litter offences, including dog fouling.
7. Act as a visible point of contact for the localmunity regarding town centre maintenance.
8. Provide advice and assistance to members of the public, escalating issues to your supervisor when needed.
9. Follow all Council health and safety rules, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the public.
10. Undertake any other relevant duties appropriate to the role.

16. The post holder may be required to work additional hours and outside normal working hours to meet the needs of the service. This includes evenings, weekends and public holidays.
