Accommodation, Activities & Welfare Officer
Salary: £26,800 - £28,600
My client, a reputable college in Cambridge known for its academic excellence, innovative learning environments, and state-of-the-art facilities, is recognised with Investors in People Gold status. They are looking for an Accommodation & Welfare Officer.
You will report to the International Centre Manager and play a key role in student welfare, ensuring international students feel supported, safe, and engaged throughout their time at the college.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and assessing high-quality Homestay accommodation, including health, safety, and safeguarding checks.
2. Supporting student wellbeing and fostering social integration.
3. Coordinating administrative tasks related to ESOL admissions, visa processing, and compliance.
4. Contributing to marketing and recruitment efforts within the International Office.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in accommodation and welfare within an educational setting.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* A student-centred approach and passion for creating outstanding support services.
* Flexibility, including availability for some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
