Events Manager UK University Search Islington About the job We are looking for a new member of the team to manage the events that we run across the calendar year. You will be responsible for organising and scheduling our higher education and apprenticeship fairs and helping to deliver our in-person events of up to 7000 attendees. The job would suit an individual who has a track record of organising events, preferably in the same sector. This role demands strong administrative, organisational and communication skills, as well as an ability to work well within a team. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking and driven individual, who has the initiative to help improve and enhance the experience at our fairs. Duties and Responsibilities include: · Organising our scheduled events with contacts at various venues. · Help in running the events on the day with the rest of the team. · Working together with other members to alter and improve the delivery of events. · Venue sourcing, contracting and management of suitable event venues, accommodation and travel. · Briefing the design team on website/social platform requirements. · Preparing a post-event report and evaluation. · Building relationships with new and existing partners. Working hours are 9am-5pm, full time Monday to Friday. We are based in Islington, North London, and we currently mix our time between home and office working. As a small company we expect employees to go over and above the job title and have a hand in the successful running of the business. You will be able to learn new skills which are not related to your job title.
