Events Supervisor - Job Title: Events/Food and Beverage Supervisor (Hybrid Role) Location: Hoebridge Golf Centre Reports to: Events Manager & Food and Beverage Manager Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Events & Food and Beverage Supervisor to support both the Events and F&B departments in delivering exceptional service. This hybrid role is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of events while also supervising day-to-day food and beverage operations across the clubhouse. The ideal candidate is highly organised, customer-focused, and confident leading service teams in both structured events and regular hospitality service. Key Responsibilities: Events Support Assist the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing golf days, weddings, corporate functions, and private events Act as a key point of contact on event days, ensuring smooth delivery and high service standards Supervise event setup and breakdown, including room layout, d cor, and equipment Liaise with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service during events Brief staff on event requirements, timings, and service expectations Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues in real time Ensure all client requirements and special requests are delivered to a high standard Food & Beverage Operations Support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily clubhouse service Supervise front-of-house staff during service, ensuring efficiency and excellent guest experience Lead by example in delivering high-quality service and maintaining professional standards Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints in a professional manner Team Leadership Provide on-the-ground leadership across both event and daily service teams Motivate and support staff to maintain high morale and performance Assist in training new team members and ongoing development of existing staff Ensure clear communication between departments, especially between kitchen, bar, and events Operational Duties Open and close the clubhouse or specific service areas as required Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of all service areas Support administrative tasks such as event sheets, function orders, and service reports Step in operationally where needed during busy periods Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in both events and food & beverage operations Supervisory or team leadership experience Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment Good knowledge of food safety and licensing regulations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required What We Offer Competitive salary Staff meals on duty Opportunities for progression within the club A supportive and team-oriented working environment Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Discounted or free food Employee discount Free parking Gym membership On-site gym On-site parking Store discount Work Location: In person
