Location and Hours
Location: We work across England, with offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Southport. Hours: 35 hours per week. Hybrid working – 2 days in the office per week, negotiable if needed.

Main Responsibilities
* Reviewing medical records and other documentation relevant to the case
* Sorting and categorisation of medical records
* Preparing Opinion of Merit (OOM) and chronology to assist legal investigations and assess prospects, with knowledge of breach of duty and causation
* Preparing paginations in paperless format, including use of IT tools and evolving AI tools
* Undertaking necessary medico-legal research and understanding relevant professional guidelines
* Applying GDPR understanding to identify issues within medical records
* Progression towards Risk Assessment 1s
Essential Skills And Experience
* Minimum 3-5 years post-qualification experience in NHS practice / clinical setting as a registered nurse
* High level of accuracy in work
* Ability to learn and adapt to new environments
* Analytical skills and strong communication, with attention to detail
* Ability to work in a team both remotely and in person
* Motivated, organized, and proactive
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining standards
* Knowledge of Audits and interpreting findings to improve practice
* Basic understanding of medical records
* Experience using Microsoft Office
