About the Role
Soil Machine Dynamics (SMD) is looking for a Semi-Skilled Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting our Technicians in the Production Workshop and other associated duties.
Key Responsibilities
Rigging, slinging and lifting of equipment within Production areas
Responsible for general workshop housekeeping duties.
Assisting Production Technicians in daily duties
Local driving duties to drop off and pick up items

Essential qualifications:
Driving license
Forklift license (16T FLT licence desirable)
Crane license
Slinging & Lifting qualifications
Ability to work as part of a team, flexibility, pro-active attitude, health & safety driven

Required Criteria
* HNC qualification or equivalent certified trade apprenticeship
* Strong experience in panel wiring and machine wiring, working to electrical drawings
* Proven experience in electrical assembly and sub-assembly requirements
* Experience in stripping, crimping, and terminating cables
