Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client; an established manufacturing firm based in Southend-on-Sea for a Junior CAD Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and innovative team with the possibility of career progression. This role will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. The role entails (but is not limited to): Creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings based on prepared briefs and instructions. Revisiting existing technical drawings following revisions and correcting inaccuracies. Working closely with the sales and projects teams, including other technicians and designers to meet the business needs and deadlines. Reviewing project requirements, initial designs, and other data to understand the technical specification of each project. Keeping an accurate and detailed record of all design work undertaken and ensuring all documentation is kept well-organised. Receiving training from experienced professionals to develop skills in CAD software, industry standards, and best practices. Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to. In exceptional circumstances, completing out-of-hours work as required by the company. A successful candidate will have: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an emphasis on telephone calls.
