We are working with a client in Ballymena that needs a Civil Sales Manager due to business growth. Offering a salary of £50,000 + great benefits. We are looking for someone who can efficiently lead the Civil Sales team, maximize sales opportunities, meet profit targets, and adhere to stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive sales performance to meet revenue targets in the civil engineering and construction materials sector.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and strengthen market position.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
5. Provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects to support competitive tender submissions.
6. Lead the bid and tender process to secure new projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
7. Work with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient estimating and bidding.
8. Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance the company's market position.
9. Maintain in-depth knowledge of civil engineering products and services to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
10. Prepare and submit accurate quotes, bids, and proposals in response to client inquiries.
11. Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and maintain strong client relationships.
Ideal Candidate
1. 3+ years of experience within a management role.
2. Proven ability in sales and estimating.
3. Experience with AutoCAD.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
5. Competent IT skills.
Qualifications
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
