Introducing Inuvi’s Quality Team

The Inuvi Quality team is essential in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting core processes.This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Inuvi’s Quality Team and work with a variety of international standards and regulations.

With a strong focus on continuous improvement, the Quality team plays a crucial role in driving Inuvi's success and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

What we are looking for

A Quality Officer who will be primarily based in Churcham, Gloucester and at a secondary site in Wokingham. This role involves ensuring that the quality management system is effectively implemented and maintained, ensuring policies, procedures, processes, and outputs comply with certification and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on continuous improvement across the business. The Quality Officer will work with management teams to ensure best practices are maintained, methods are reviewed and improved and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, the role includes supporting a culture of quality and security awareness, including the training and development of staff where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with certification and regulatory requirements and improve service delivery.
* Perform duties in line with ISO standards and QMS Policies and Procedures.
* Act impartially, declaring potential conflicts of interest.
* Review QMS effectiveness to ensure compliance, notifying management of risks.
* Engage with colleagues on QMS elements, supporting investigations and recording events.
* Monitor and report Quality Performance Indicators.
* Support management reviews to meet regulatory and QMS requirements.
* Facilitate risk management processes.
* Promote awareness of users’ needs and requirements.
* Address complaints, requests, or suggestions promptly.
* Review and update QMS documentation and procedures regularly.
* Maintain and conduct internal audits per schedule, including information security audits.
* Assist in supplier selection and monitoring, notifying management of non-compliance.
* Identify deviations from QMS and initiate actions.
* Monitor and verify corrective actions’ effectiveness.
* Collaborate with the Quality Manager as a contact for certification and regulatory bodies.
* Identify opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements.
* Assist the Chief Technology Officer with customer due diligence activities.
* Support contingency planning to ensure essential services during emergencies.
* Stay updated on legislation affecting the business and notify management.
* Liaise with customers to resolve issues or offer advice.
* Assist in implementing new services.

Essential Experience:

* Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards with experience in quality assurance within regulated/accredited organisations.
* Ideally educated to degree-level or equivalent experience in quality or information security management.
* Experience in internal audits (e.g., ISO 9001), including report writing and analysis.
* Ability to work independently with sound judgement and decision-making.
* Proficient in numeracy, literacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Accurate data recording and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Capable of writing clear, concise documentation and maintaining confidentiality.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to meet business needs and concurrent task management.
* Highly motivated, with initiative and self-confidence.
* Valid driving license and willingness for further training.

Desirable Experience:

* Quality assurance experience in ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, ISO 15189, or CQC organisations.
* Trained auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, or ISO 15189.
* Knowledge of GDPR and experience with cybersecurity concepts and tools.
* Clinical environment experience.

This is an onsite based role in Churcham, Gloucestershire (GL2) with regular travel expected to our office in Wokingham, Berkshire (RG41).
