Be among the first 25 applicants. Headway Cardiff and South East Wales are seeking a strategic thinker with an eye for detail to fulfill the role of Treasurer on our board. The Treasurer is a voluntary role that provides oversight of the organisation’s finances and procedures, working closely with the Chair and CEO to ensure a firm basis on which to maintain and develop our services, and secure, well‑managed, effectively targeted financial resources.
We are a well‑established charity in South Wales and beyond, with an excellent reputation and solid foundations. We support people who have tragically suffered a brain injury due to accident or illness. Our team of Trustees, staff and volunteers is cooperative, friendly and energetic, recognized for a committed, informed, reflective and caring approach. With growing activity and expanding impact, we remain small enough to be responsive and open to change.
The time commitment for the Treasurer role is approximately 7 hours per month, including attending monthly board meetings and some work in between.

Responsibilities

* Good with figures with an understanding of accountancy and governance processes
