Bank Specialist Nurse | Extended Recovery | Competitive Hourly Rate | Flexible Working | Leeds – LS8
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Nurse in extended recovery to join our staffing bank team on a flexible basis.
In this role you will provide exemplary planned care for Extensive Recovery patients within the Extended Care Unit and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in a hospital setting providing extensive recovery.
Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week
Duties and responsibilities;
1. Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
2. Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals’ health and wellbeing needs
3. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
4. Receiving patients from theatre
5. Assisting the Multi-Disciplinary Team in planning care
6. Ability to communicate effectively across other departments
7. Demonstrate an understanding of Critical care Outreach
Who we're looking for
8. NMC registered with no restrictions
9. 1 years ICU experience
10. ICU certificate (desirable)
11. Good communication skills
