Management Accountant
Lisburn
Temporary up to 6 months with possible extension
The Client: NIFRS
Duties:
The post holder will provide a leading contribution to the efficient delivery of a full range of financial management, governance and accounting functions, including but not limited to, the timely delivery of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, managing the accounts technician and providing support to the Head of the Strategic Financial Management & Business Partnering team on other accounting matters.

Qualifications & Personal Development Essential Criteria:
2. Applicants must be fully qualified accountants, having successfully completed the professional examinations, and be a full Member of one of the following bodies*:
3. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
4. Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
5. The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
6. Chartered Accountants Ireland
7. Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
8. Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales: or
9. Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland
AND
10. A minimum of two years' relevant experience within a large complex organisation* of Financial management, including the preparation of monthly management accounts.
OR
11. Applicants must be a part-qualified Accountant having successfully completed at least the second stage of professional exams, or equivalent, and be a student member of one of the following bodies*:
12. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
13. Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
14. The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
15. Chartered Accountants Ireland
16. Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
17. Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales: or
18. Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland
AND
19. At least three years' relevant experience within a large complex organisation* of Financial management, including the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Knowledge Skills & Experience Essential Criteria:
20. Evidence of at least two years' experience of managing a team to deliver results within a target driven environment.
21. Excellent planning skills and ability to work under pressure of multiple deadlines.
22. Delivering high quality work with excellent attention to detail
23. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to provide timely and accurate information;
24. Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships and maintain a strong customer service orientation.
Other Essential Criteria:
25. Applicants must possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
Rate of Pay:
26. £ per hour
