Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Games Design Lecturer to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Levels 1–3. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of vocational qualifications, including BTEC and OCR awarding bodies, and will be passionate about preparing learners for progression into higher education and the games industry. The role requires both practical and theoretical delivery across games design, 3D art, animation, and digital production disciplines, alongside supporting students in developing professional workflows and portfolio-ready projects. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Levels 1–3 Games Design programmes. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum specifications and awarding body requirements. Support learners to achieve academic success, progression, and industry-ready skills. Develop engaging schemes of work, lesson materials, and assessment strategies. Maintain accurate learner records, assessment tracking, and progress monitoring. Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students as required. Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in team meetings, standardisation, moderation, and internal verification activities.
