My client a leading supplier of agricultural and groundcare machinery, representing a range of premium brands, they are seeking a passionate and driven Area Sales Manager to join their expanding Groundcare Sales Team. This role is based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, covering a high-potential territory including Leicestershire, parts of Warwickshire, and the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing groundcare, domestic, and commercial customers.
* Promote market-leading brands through regular customer visits, calls, and territory management.
* Manage the full sales process - from enquiry and machine demonstration to quotation, negotiation, and delivery.
* Provide consultative advice tailored to each customer’s business needs and objectives.
* Confidently demonstrate new and used machinery, showcasing value, performance, and suitability.
* Maintain accurate customer records and activity tracking via the CRM system.
* Collaborate with sales, parts, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About You
* Strong knowledge of the groundcare, professional turf, or machinery sector, with a solid understanding of customer needs and industry challenges.
* A self-motivated and confident sales professional capable of working independently to deliver consistent results.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
* Commercially aware and well-organised, with experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to delivery.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
