Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants – Guildford and Surrounding Areas
Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education or child development? We’re looking for enthusiastic and empathetic graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of mainstream and SEN schools in Guildford and the surrounding areas.

About the role:
* Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and behavioural challenges
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils engage with learning and develop key life skills
* Assisting teachers and SENCOs in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans
* Observing and understanding student behaviour through a psychological lens – ideal for those considering careers in educational or clinical psychology
* Helping to create an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every child can thrive
What we’re looking for:
* A degree in Psychology or a related subject
* A passion for working with children and young people
* Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, patient, and resilient attitude
* Previous experience in schools, youth work, or care settings (desirable but not essential)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
