Mid Weight – Senior Web & Graphic Designer
Location:On-site in Runcorn, Cheshire
Salary:25-30k Dependent on experience
Hours:Full-time (early Friday finish if the work’s done!)
We're on the lookout for a passionateMid Weight – Senior Web Designerwith strong graphic design skills to join our creative team in Runcorn. This role is all about bringing websites to life – so if you’re confident in designing and building engaging, responsive sites and enjoy collaborating on brand visuals too, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing and building websites– mainly using WordPress and Divi or Elementor, so experience here is key. Familiarity with other platforms or builders is a bonus.
* Working closely with our design team to take website projects from initial concepts through to live launch.
* Creating user-friendly, visually engaging websites that work just as well on mobile as they do on desktop.
* Producing graphics and visual assets to complement websites, including banners, social assets, and brand visuals.
* Supporting wider brand and print design projects when needed – from brochures to logos.
* Managing your own projects and timelines, and working directly with clients to shape their online presence.
* Giving feedback to junior team members and helping maintain high design standards across everything we do.
What we’re looking for:
* 3+ years of experience in a web design role (bonus if it’s agency-side or in a fast-paced studio).
* A strong portfolio showcasing website designs (preferably WordPress/Divi) plus some branding/graphic design work.
* Solid knowledge of WordPress and Divi or Elementor – knowing how to get the best out of the builder and how to tweak where needed.
* Good understanding of layout, UX principles, and responsive design.
* Confidence with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
* Comfortable managing multiple projects at once and dealing directly with clients.
* Bonus points for mentoring experience or supporting junior designers.
* Friendly, down-to-earth, and up for working collaboratively in a close-knit team.
* Early finish every Friday – perfect for getting a head start on the weekend
