A bit more about the role
The Health Informatics team has specialist skills in delivering complex, technical programmes of work that include providing secure environments for storing and accessing health and other sensitive data to support health and care delivery, research, and innovation.
The Project Support Officer will bring strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, alongside a desire to support multi-stakeholder projects and a keen interest in developing their own project and programme management skills. The role holder will be a collaborative team player, comfortable with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where multiple internal workstreams and external stakeholders converge. They will balance competing priorities and deadlines with clarity, adaptability, and a focus on team success.

This post is a hybrid role with 2–3 days per month required in our Cambridge office (although you can choose to work in the office more frequently if preferred) and Ad hoc attendance at additional in-person meetings both within the Eastern region and nationally. Flexible working hours compatible with the role can be considered (including the possibility of working part time).
