Hours: Full time, initially to cover maternity leave, with potential for permanent placement in a new service in the area.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Pay rate: £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on diploma level.
Esland is committed to improving children’s lives through providing top-tier specialist services. We seek a dedicated, knowledgeable Deputy Manager to join our Assessments Team at our Burton-Upon-Trent home, which offers short-term therapeutic intervention and trauma support for 7 to 18-year-olds. Our assessment homes provide security, support, and stabilization in a nurturing environment over 12 weeks, with access to education and outdoor activities.
This role is ideal for an experienced deputy manager eager to grow with a supportive company, or a senior support worker ready to take the next step.

Essential requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home within the last 5 years
* At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in care
* Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
* Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations, relevant legislation, and standards
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Full UK driving license
* Right to work in the UK without restrictions
* Applicants must be over 21 years old
* A keen interest in outdoor activities; experience or qualifications are desirable
