A leading global business is transforming their indirect procurement function and seek a strong logistics procurement professional to design and embed logistics sourcing strategy for the business, managing a significant spend across their European network.
This customer-centric business is keen to maximise the value of strategic procurement in order to deliver maximum value for consumers globally. You will be in charge of managing and introducing new suppliers, creating logistics procurement processes across the business and working with the world-class logistics team to ensure successful customer journeys and to create top line value.
The ideal applicant will have expert logistics knowledge and strategic sourcing/category management experience across the logistics category. The role will see you work with a broad range of stakeholders across various business units, so a strong communicator is essential. The business is transforming rapidly so somebody with a keen interest in continuous improvement, streamlining procurement for growth and driving both change and sustainability would be an ideal candidate for this exciting position.
