Role Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Change Manager to lead on the Digital Transformation and Strategy activities. Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy, and working closely with the Digital Business Manager, Comms lead and TMO. This role will drive change management for the Transformation workstream, defining, designing and executing the strategic engagement and interventions across a diverse stakeholder base. The programme sits across a number of transformational sub-initiatives, including the implementation of new Operating model and Organisational design, Service definition workstreams as well various Digital leadership sponsored initiatives. Alignment Analyse and address organisational, cultural, and behavioural impacts of change initiatives Align Digital leaders to a common vision, goals, priorities, and desired change outcomes Identify stakeholder groups impacted by new process and systems and assess needs and change impacts Design scalable and actionable change management plans, ensuring cross-team coordination and alignment with organisational strategies Engagement Define communication and engagement tactics, channels, and forums most effective for Digital teams. Prepare key messaging with roadmap of what messages are needed when, mindful of Thames Water’s planning calendar Shape the user support approach for planning, budgeting, and forecasting Work closely with Digital Comms lead to align messaging, use of Thames ‘official channels’ plus local Digital networks. Learning and Development Ensure that the necessary training, development and learning opportunities are available and adopted to support the change initiatives and new processes/ways of working. Support the DLT / ELT / TMO team when running sessions and materials to compliment these sessions, i.e. SharePoint articles, glossary of terms etc. Readiness Define the business readiness criteria for each of the core transformation activities, assess against this and identifying blockers for resolution pre go live Delivery of end user training to necessary teams for maximum adoption of change activities Adoption Define key metrics to measure, track and report adoption of the different change activities to identify success. Collect lessons learned for future continuous improvement. Essential Experience and Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in applying multiple change management methodologies, including agile change management and system implementation change and culture change Proven ability to align change management plans with organisational strategies and measure impact using advanced KPIs Proven background in developing and delivering structured and reusable change communications - including face to face and remote delivery, for varying audiences (team huddle to department meeting), using presentations, FAQs and company communication channels. Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of building partnerships at all levels Ability to prioritise multiple initiatives, perform complex tasks, organise and follow through consistently and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Formal Change Management qualification (ie. Prosci, APMG Foundation & Practitioner, ACM Foundation, ACM Specialist, or Certified Change Management Professional [CCMP])
